Dreaming Of You


This tutorial was written by me on April 23rd, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

I used a gorgeous scrap kit called "Elegance In Black" by Lady Noelle Buttons & Bows Scraps.  It's available at Scraps From The Heart.

I used the stunning art of Katerina Koukiotis.  This tube is entitled "Dreaming of You" and is available at PSP Tube Stop.

Plugin: VM Natural: Sparkle

Mask #82 by Signature Collections.

Font: I used Young Love, HERE.

~~ Remember to save often! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of you choice.

Open a new image, 800 x 700, white background.

From the kit, open frame 08 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.

Click inside the frame with the magic wand.  Selections > Modify > Expand > expand by 5.

Open paper 5 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and move beneath the frame.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.

Open drapes and resize 30%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as shown.  Tap delete, do not deselect.

Resize the tube 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange.  Tap delete and deselect.  Apply drop shadow, I used V 2, H 6, Opacity 65, Blur 15.

Open frame 07 and resize 25%.  Duplicate twice and arrange side by side to create a window (see my tag for reference).  Merge these three layers together and move below the drapes.

Using the magic wand, click inside each of the "windows".  Expand the selection by 5.  Add a new raster layer and move beneath the merged layer.  Flood fill the selection with black.  Deselect.

Apply VM Natural: Sparkle using these settings:

Open Frame 10 and resize 34%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Click inside the frame with the magic wand and expand the selection by 5.

Add a new raster layer and move below the frame.  Flood fill with black, do not deselect.

Copy and paste the tube as a new layer, do not resize.  Arrange within the round frame and tap delete.  Deselect.

Activate the black layer once again and apply the Sparkles plugin using the same settings as before.

Now add your elements, I used:

fan 01: resize 35%
glass: resize 28%
perfume bottle 1: resize 25%
perfume bottle 2: resize 25%, then 85%; mirror
lipstick: resize 20%
vase crystal: resize 50%
wordart 01: resize 35%

Apply drop shadow to all elements.  I used H&V 2, Opacity 75, Blur 10.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Unhide background layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Copy and paste paper 6 into the selection; deselect.  Apply Signature Collections mask #82 and merge the mask group.

Crop and resize your tag.  Add your name (Young Love font, Size 95, Stroke 0, colour white).  Apply drop shadow, I used H&V 2, Opacity 75, Blur 5.

Add all applicable copyright and license info.  Save as a png and you're finished!  Thanks for trying my tutorial!

Dangerous Woman (FTU)


This tutorial was written by me on April 22nd, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

Scrap kit: I used a wonderful New Year's FTU kit by Candy's Treats.  Download from her blog HERE.  Please remember to leave a thank you for hard work freely shared, it's always appreciated!

I used the sexy art of Carlos Diez, available from Up Your Art.  Please don't use without a license.

Template #291 by Missy.  Download from her blog HERE.  Template download links are located on the left side.

Mask #133 by Vaybs

Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow

Font: I used Bank Gothic Light, available at a number of places.  A web search will result in multiple links.

~~ Remember to save often! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open the template in PSP, shift + d to duplicate, close the original.

Delete the credit layer.  Change the canvas size to 750 x 750.  Unhide the background layer and flood fill the blank area with white.

Activate rectangle1 layer; select all, float and defloat.  From the kit, open Paper 8 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer; invert selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Apply drop shadow, I used H&V 2, Opacity 63, Blur 10.

Activate rectangle2 layer; select all, float and defloat.  Paste Paper 8 again (it will still be on the clipboard) and follow the instructions above.

Activate oval layer; select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 6 and resize 80%.  Copy and paste as a new layer, invert selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete original layer.

Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colorize > Hue: 28, Saturation: 142.  Click OK.

Apply drop shadow, I used H&V 0, Opacity 63, Blur 12.

Activate circle layer; select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and delete original.

Foreground: #550c0c
Background: #000000

Change foreground to gradient with these settings:

From the drop down menu: choose Foreground/Background
Style: Linear
Angle: 45
Repeats: 3
Invert: unchecked

Flood fill the selection with this gradient and deselect.

Resize the tube 90% and mirror.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Apply drop shadow; I used V 2, H 6, Opacity 50, Blur 15.

From the kit, open the velvet ribbon element and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and move below the tube.  Arrange so it looks like she's sitting on the ribbon.

Activate the circle paper layer.  Select all, float and defloat.  Invert the selection.

Activate the ribbon layer and tap delete.  Deselect.  Apply drop shadow, I used H&V 2, Opacity 63, Blur 10.

Activate large dangerous layer.  Using the magic wand, click inside each of the letters.  Flood fill with the gradient above, check the box beside Invert this time.  Deselect and apply drop shadow.

Activate star2 layer.  Select the "Change To Target" brush, which is located in the fly-out menu directly below the paint brush tool.  Here's what it looks like:


Change the settings to: Size: 999, Hardness: 100, Step: 10, Density: 100, Thickness: 100, Rotation: 0, Opacity: 100, Continuous: unchecked, Mode: Colour

Change foreground to #d6b36e.  Center the brush on the canvas and left click once.  Repeat for star1 and dotted line.  Drop shadow.

Open velvet ribbon curls and resize 60%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Mirror and free rotate 4 degrees left.  Arrange as shown.  Drop shadow.

Open buttonglitter1 and resize 25%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and place over the curled ribbon.  Duplicate, mirror and arrange on the left side of the circle.  Drop shadow.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Resize merged layer 90%.  Unhide background and add a new raster layer.  Flood fill new layer with foreground colour.  Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Gaussian, 50%, Monochrome checked.  Click OK.

Apply Vaybs mask #133 and merge mask group.

Crop and resize your tag.  Add your name (Bank Gothic Lt, Size 48, Stroke 0, colour: black.)  Apply Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow with these settings:

Under the Colour tab: choose the fat preset
Under the Basic tab: Glow Width: 3.00, Soft Corners: 0, Overall Opacity: 100, Draw Only Outside Selection: checked.  Click OK.  Apply drop shadow.

Save as a png and you're finished, enjoy your new tag!  Thanks for trying my tutorial.

Sterling Chocolate


This tutorial was written by me on April 21st, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

Scrap kit: I used a wonderful kit called "Sterling Chocolate" by BLT DeZignZ.  You can purchase it at Bella Zingaro Studio.  Thanks so much Brandy!

Tube: I used a tube by Pinup Toons.  You can purchase his work at CDO.

Template #42 from Twyzted T's Playroom.

Mask #27 from Dees'Sign Depot.

Font: I used LHF Wade Grotesque Swash, a pay font.

Drop shadow used, unless otherwise specified: H&V 2, Opacity 63, Blur 10.

After adding each new paper layer: Invert selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete original layer, then apply drop shadow.  Follow these steps unless instructed otherwise.

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open the template in PSP, shift + d to duplicate and close the original.

Delete the credit layer.  Resize all layers 80%, then change the canvas size to 800 x 700.  Unhide the background layer and flood fill the blank area with white.

Activate Raster 9; select all, float and defloat. 

From the kit, open Paper 10 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer, follow instructions in the introduction.

Use the same paper for Raster 3.  Before deselecting, copy the smaller close-up tube (do not resize) and paste as a new layer.  Arrange within the selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete the original layer.  Change the blend mode of the tube to Screen and reduce the opacity to 60.  Drop shadow the tube.

Repeat the steps above for copy of Raster 3.

Activate Raster 4; select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 1 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer, invert selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.

Copy the smaller close-up tube once again and paste as a new layer.  Duplicate and move the copy above Raster 18 (frame).  Using the eraser, remove the part of the tube that extends past the circle on the bottom layer.  Deselect and activate the top tube layer.  Erase the part of the tube that's on top of the frame.  Drop shadow the bottom layer only.  I used Vertical -2, Horizontal 5, Opacity 60, Blur 15.

Activate Raster 2; select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 2 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer, follow instructions in the introduction.

Repeat for copy of Raster 2.

Activate Raster 5; select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 4 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer, etc.

Activate Raster 7; select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer and flood fill with #f0eced.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise > Gaussian, 50%, Monochrome checked.  Click OK.  Apply drop shadow.

Repeat the steps above for Raster 12, 13, 14, 15.

Apply drop shadow to Raster 10 and 11.

Now add your elements, I used:

Coffee: resize 15%
Choc1: resize 10%, then 40%.  Duplicate and free rotate 35 degrees right.
Choc2: resize 10%
Fan: resize 20%
Lolli: resize 15%; free rotate 35 degrees right
Flower3: resize 30% and mirror.  Duplicate and resize 80%; free rotate 20 degrees left.

Drop shadow all elements.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Unhide the background layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Open Paper 14, copy and paste into selection.  Deselect and apply Dees'Sign Depot mask #27; merge mask group.

Crop and resize your tag.  Add your name (I used LHF Wade Grotesque Swash, Size 90, Stroke 1, foreground set to #f0eced and background #45302d) and add all applicable copyright and license info.

Save as a png, you're finished!  Thanks for trying my tutorial!

A Fairy Meadow


This tutorial was written by me on April 19th, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

Scrap kit: I used a fabulous kit by Jessica of Gothic Inspirations called "A Fairy's Garden".  You can find this beauty and many others at her store HERE.  Thanks so much Jess!

I used the beautiful artwork of Anna Marine.  You can purchase her tubes at CDO, please don't use without a license.

Mask #80 by Vaybs.

Font: I used Aquarelle, HERE.

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open a new image, 800 x 700, white background.

From the kit, open Frame 3 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Free rotate 90 degrees right.

Zoom in to the frame and activate the freehand selection tool.  Draw a selection around the frame, like this:

Open Paper 7 and resize 60%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and move below the frame.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.

Open the tube and resize 70%; copy and paste as a new layer.  Duplicate and move the copy below the frame.  Using the eraser, remove the unicorn's back hooves from both copies.  You may need to clean this up a bit when you deselect, depending how close to the edge of the frame you drew your selection.

Apply a drop shadow to the copy beneath the frame only.  I used V 2, H 5, Opacity 53, Blur 15.

Open Grass 2, do not resize.  Mirror, then copy and paste as a new layer.  Arrange on the right side as shown in my tag.  Activate Grass 2 again and undo the mirror.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange this layer on the left side.  Refer to my tag as a guide.  Tap delete on each layer to remove excess.  Apply drop shadow, I used H&V 2, Opacity 53, Blur 10.  Use this drop shadow for all elements unless otherwise specified.

Open Pool and resize 30%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as shown.  Tap delete and apply drop shadow.

Open Fairy Castle and resize 20%.  Copy and paste this below the pool and grass layers.  Tap delete and apply drop shadow.

Open Tree and resize 15%; mirror.  Copy and paste as a new layer in front of the castle.  Apply drop shadow.

Open MoonWCloud and resize 40%; copy and paste as a new layer.  Apply a light drop shadow, I used H&V 0, Opacity 25, Blur 12.

Open Bridge and resize 60%; free rotate 20 degrees right.  Copy and paste as a new layer and move below the tube copy.  Apply drop shadow and tap delete.

Open Brushed Grass 1 and resize 30%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange inside the frame at the bottom right.  Duplicate 3 times and arrange as shown.  Apply drop shadow and tap delete after each addition.

Open Brushed Grass 2 and resize 30%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange inside the frame on the bottom left.  Apply drop shadow and tap delete.  Deselect.

Continue adding elements of your choice.  I used:

Bird: resize 25%
Bling Leaves: resize 35%
Dragonfly: resize 30%; duplicate and resize 85%
Flowers 2: resize 25%
Flowers 3: resize 20%
Flowers 4: resize 25%
Flowers 5: resize 35%
Flowers 6: resize 30% and mirror; duplicate and mirror, resize 80%

Apply drop shadow to all elements.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Unhide background layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Copy Paper 10 and paste into the selection.  Deselect.  Apply Vaybs mask #80 and merge mask group.  Use the raster deform tool to adjust mask size and placement.

Crop and resize your tag.  Add your name using the font Aquarelle, size 72, stroke 0, background set to #000c1a.  Then add all applicable copyright and license information.

Save as a png and you're finished!  I hope you enjoy your new tag and thanks for trying my tutorial!

American Honey


This tutorial was written by me on April 18th, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

Scrap kit: I used a gorgeous kit by Horseplay's Pasture Designs called "American Honey".  I absolutely LOVE this kit!!  You can get it at Scraps From The Heart.  Thanks so much Bev!

Circle Mask by Monti.

Font used: La Portenia de la Boca, HERE.

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open a new image, 800 x 700, white background.

From the kit, open element 26 and resize 60%.  Free rotate 90 degrees left.  Duplicate, resize 85% and position on the left side behind the original.  Duplicate and mirror.  You should have something that looks like this:


Activate the first layer (center frame) and click inside the frame with the magic wand.  Selections > Modify > Expand > expand by 5.  Activate one of the other frames and tap delete.  Repeat for the second frame.  You should now have this:


Merge the three frame layers together.

Using the magic wand, click inside each of the frames and expand the selection by 5.

Open Paper 14 and resize 80%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and move below the frame layer.  Arrange as desired, invert selection and tap delete.  Do not deselect.

Open element 62 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange on the left side (see my tag for placement)  Tap delete and deselect.  Duplicate the tree and resize 80%; mirror and arrange as shown in my tag.

Open the tube and resize 85%.  Copy and paste as a new layer above the frame.  Activate the frame layer and use the magic wand to click inside the center frame.  Using the eraser, carefully remove the parts of the tube that overlap the frame at the bottom and on the left side.  Deselect.  Apply a drop shadow to your tube, I used V 2, H 5, Opacity 50, Blur 15.

Drop shadow the frame and trees, I used H&V 2, Opacity 50, Blur 10.

Now add the other elements; I used:

1: resize 20%
3: resize 25% and mirror
4: resize 20%, then 70%
9: resize 30%
10: resize 30%
11: resize 65%
42: resize 50%
43: resize 50%; duplicate and mirror, arrange behind the tube and erase any excess.  Duplicate as many times as desired to create the effect you want.
44: resize 30%; free rotate 50 degrees left
49: resize 30%
50: do not resize; duplicate and mirror
70: resize 60%
71: resize 60%
77: resize 50%

Apply drop shadow above to all elements.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Resize the merged layer 85%.  Unhide the background layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Open Paper 9; copy and paste into selection, deselect.

Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur > Radius of 5, click OK.

Apply Monti's Circle mask and merge mask layer.  Use the Raster Deform tool to adjust size and placement.

Using the rectangle selection tool, draw a selection around the bottom part of the mask, like this:


Make sure the mask layer is the active one.  Adjust > Hue and Saturation > Colorize > Hue: 49, Saturation: 122.  Click OK.  You should now have this:


Crop and resize your tag, add your name (La Portenia de la Boca, Size 72, Stroke 0, background colour set to #fffefc).  Apply drop shadow above.

Add all applicable copyright and license info, save as a png and you're finished!  I hope you enjoy your new tag.

Celebrate Spring!


This tutorial was written by me on April 14th, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

Scrap kit: I used a beautiful new tagger-sized kit by BabyCakes Scraps called "Spring Into Spring".  You can purchase this lovely kit at a great discount from Bella Zingaro Studio, which is closing it's doors at the end of the month.

I used an awesome tube and close-up entitled "Balloons" by Robert Alvarado.  Robert was with MPT when I purchased this tube but unfortunately I don't know where he's selling his awesome art right now.  Please don't use his work without a license.

"Celebrate Spring" Template from Twyzted T's Playroom.

Mask #83 from Signature Collections.

Plug-in used: Eye Candy 4000, Gradient Glow.

Font used: Romance Fatal Serif, HERE.

~~ Remember to save often! ~~

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open the template in PSP, shift + d to duplicate, close the original.

Resize all layers 80%.  Change the canvas size to 800 x 700.  Activate the background layer and flood fill the blank area with white.

Delete Raster 12.

Activate Raster 6; select all, float and defloat.  From the kit, open Paper 3 and resize 60%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as desired.  Invert selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete the original layer.

Follow these basic steps for all template layers, except for the ones I note below.

Raster 2: Paper 6, resize 60%
Raster 4: Paper 10, resize 60%
Copy of Raster 4: Paper 10, resize 60%
Raster 3: Paper 8, resize 60%.  Do not deselect.  Open the close-up tube and resize 70%; copy and paste as a new layer and arrange within the selection.  Tap delete and deselect.  Change the blend mode to Luminance (L).  Delete original layer.
Raster 5: Paper 6, resize 40%.  Repeat for Copy of Raster 5.

Activate Raster 7; select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer.  Change the foreground to #c6f1fd and the background to #ffebff.  Change foreground to gradient with these settings: From the drop down menu - select Foreground/Background, Style - Linear, Angle - 45, Repeats - 9.  Click OK.  Flood fill the new layer with this gradient.  Deselect and delete original layer.

Activate Raster 11; select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer.  Change the foreground back to Colour, #fefd3c.  Flood fill the new layer with this colour.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise > Uniform, 50%, Monochrome checked.  Click OK.

Activate Raster 8; select all, float and defloat.  Add a new raster layer.  Change the foreground to #dc41ac and flood fill the new layer.  Deselect and delete original layer.  Add a gradient glow using Eye Candy 4000.  Under the Colour tab, select Medium, leave the colour set to white.  Under the Basic tab, change the settings to: Glow Width: 3.00, Soft Corners: 0, Overall Opacity: 100, Draw Only Outside Selection: checked.  Click OK.

Apply drop shadow of choice to word art.  I used H&V 2, Opacity 50, Blur 10.

Apply drop shadow to template layers.  I used H&V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 12.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and mirror; position as shown.  Apply drop shadow, I used H&V 0, Opacity 38, Blur 15.

Add your elements, I used:

#10: resize 15% and mirror
#15: resize 20%
#17: resize 15%; free rotate 63 degrees left or right.  Arrange behind the middle flower as shown.  Sharpen, duplicate and mirror.
#19: resize 65%
#44: resize 50%
#46: resize 10%
#47: resize 10%, duplicate and resize 85%
#55: resize 15%, duplicate
#67: resize 20%, then 95%
#68: resize 25%

Apply drop shadow to all elements, I used H&V 2, Opacity 50, Blur 10.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Resize merged layer 85%.  Edit > Cut > Edit > Paste as a new layer.  This will center your tag on the canvas.

Unhide the background layer and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Copy Paper 9 and paste into selection.  Deselect.  Adjust > Blur > Gaussian Blur > Set Radius to 5 and click OK.

Apply Signature Collections mask #83; merge mask group.  Use the raster deform tool to adjust mask size and placement.

Crop and resize your tag.  Add your name and apply the same gradient glow as above.  Add all applicable copyright and license information.

Save as a png and you're finished.  Thanks for trying my tutorial!

At The Bistro


This tutorial was written by me on April 13th, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP.  You will need the following supplies:

Scrap kit: I used a wonderful new kit by Designs By Stina called "Mama's Little Cook".  This kit is adorable, I love it!  Please visit Stina's blog HERE to find links to her stores.  Thanks so much hun!

Template: I used my template #8, download HERE.

Mask #20 by Dees'Sign Depot.

Font: I used Carattere Italic, which I believe is a pay font.  Try doing a web search for this or similar fonts.

Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.

Open the template in PSP, shift + d to duplicate and close the original.  Delete the credit layer.  Change the canvas size to 800 x 700.  Activate the background layer and flood fill the blank area with white.

Activate the Left Rectangle layer; select all, float and defloat.  From the kit, open Paper 1 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Arrange as desired, invert the selection and tap delete.  Deselect and delete the original layer.  Apply a drop shadow of choice, I used H&V 0, Opacity 55, Blur 12.

Repeat for Right Rectangle layer.

Activate Thin Rectangle-Left; select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 7 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as desired.  Invert selection and tap delete; deselect and delete original layer.  Apply drop shadow above.

Repeat for Thin Rectangle-Right.

Activate the Centre Rectangle layer; select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 2 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange.  Invert selection and tap delete; deselect and delete original layer.  Apply drop shadow.

Activate Thin Rectangle-Top; select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 2 once again and resize 75%.  Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as desired.  Invert selection and tap delete; deselect and delete original layer.  Apply drop shadow.

Repeat for Thin Rectangle-Bottom.

Apply drop shadow to Glitter Frame layer.

Activate Oval layer; select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 4 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Invert selection and tap delete; deselect and delete original layer.  Apply drop shadow.

Activate the Brush layer.  Select all, float and defloat.  Open Paper 8 and resize 70%.  Copy and paste as a new layer.  Invert selection and tap delete; deselect and delete original layer. Apply drop shadow.

Now add your elements, I used:

Bistro Table: resize 50%
Girl 01: resize 60%
Girl 02: resize 65% and place her on the left chair
Menu Board: do not resize
Cake: resize 10%
Pie: resize 10%
Preserves: resize 12%, then 95%
Bread Basket: resize 10%
Wooden Bowl: resize 10%; duplicate
Flower 01: resize 25%; duplicate and mirror

Apply drop shadow to all elements.  I used H&V 2, Opacity 55, Blur 10.

Add some "menu items" to the board.  If using Carattere Italic font, use Size 28, Stroke 0.  Set background to #fffbec.  Use what I typed or go your own way.  Apply drop shadow above.

Hide the background layer and merge visible.  Unhide background and add a new raster layer.  Select all.  Open Paper 6, copy and paste into selection.  Deselect and apply Dees'Sign Depot mask #20; merge the mask group.

Crop and resize your tag, then add your name.  I used Caraterre font, size 90, Stroke 1, foreground set to #fffbec and background set to #4d6d55.  Arrange where desired and apply drop shadow above.

Save as a png and you're finished.  Enjoy your new tag and thanks for trying my tutorial!
