This tutorial was written by me on June 9th, 2013 and was written assuming you have a general knowledge of PSP. You will need the following supplies:
Beautiful tagger-size scrap kit by Tootypup Scraps called "God Is Calling". Please visit Susan's blog HERE for links to her stores. Thank you for this gorgeous kit hun!
Tube is called "The Companion" and is by The Vintage Angel™. You can purchase her tubes from CDO.
Wonderful template #150 by Bev of Horseplay's Pasture Tutorials. Thank you Bev!
Mask #81 by WeeScotsLass.
A script-y font, I used Mon Amour Alt, a pay font.
~~ Remember to save often! ~~
Place the mask in your PSP mask folder or a folder of your choice.
Open the template in PSP, shift + d to duplicate; close the original.
Delete the credit layer. Change the canvas size to 800 x 700. Activate the background layer and flood fill the blank area with white.
Activate Square 1; select all, float and defloat. From the kit, open Paper_03 and resize 60%. Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as desired. Invert the selection and tap delete. Deselect and delete original layer. Apply drop shadow of choice, I used H&V 2, Opacity 50, Blur 12.
Repeat the steps above for all remaining layers, using these papers:
Square 2: Paper_03
Circle: Paper_02. Do not drop shadow, do not deselect. Open the tube and resize 85%. Copy and paste as a new layer and arrange as shown within the selection. Activate the eraser and carefully remove parts of the tube from the top, left side and bottom. See my tag for reference. Deselect.
Apply drop shadow to the tube, I used V -7, H 0, Opacity 32, Blur 18.
Activate Glitter Circle and apply this drop shadow: H&V 0, Opacity 50, Blur 12.
Add your elements, I used:
Candle_02: resize 40%
Bible_01: resize 50%
Heart_01b: resize 40%
Heart_01: resize 40%, then 70%. Duplicate and mirror.
Apply drop shadow of choice to elements. I used H&V 2, Opacity 50, Blur 12.
Using the font Mon Amour Script Alt (or similar), set the size to 30, create as a vector, anti-alias sharp, stroke 0. Background set to #353626. Type "All dogs go to" and click OK.
Layers > Convert to Raster Layer.
Change the font size to 58 and type "Heaven". Click OK and convert to Raster layer.
Arrange these two layers as shown. Apply drop shadow, I used H&V 2, Opacity 50, Blur 6.
Hide the background layer and merge visible. Unhide the background layer.
Add your name, using the same size and settings.
Crop and resize your tag.
Activate the background layer and add a new raster layer. Selections > Select All.
Copy and paste Paper_06 into the selection. Deselect.
Apply WSL mask #81 and merge the mask group.
Add all applicable copyright and license information. Save as a png and you're finished. Enjoy your new tag!
